Founder & Chef
Christophe Prosperi
Cooking isn't just his job, it's the thing he lives for. For Christophe, cooking combines passion and a touch of madness, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Every dish begins with a memory, a feeling, or the urge to push past what's expected. Whether he's reworking his mother's classic recipes or dreaming up something entirely new, the obsession stays the same: to surprise, to comfort, and to leave a lasting impression on every plate that leaves his kitchen.
C. Prosperi
- 2010
He begins his career in gastronomy, the start of a journey driven by passion and, as he likes to say, a little bit of madness.
- 2017
He opens a brasserie with a gastronomy group in the heart of Luxembourg City, serving guests classic dishes like "Kniddele mat Speck" and "Feierstengzalot", the dishes from his mother, as he likes to call them.
- 2018
Almost immediately after, he takes on a second restaurant, a catering and event location on the riviera of the Moselle, with a mission to build a new venue with weddings at its heart.
- 2020
In the midst of the pandemic, during lockdown, he opens another restaurant in the heart of the city with his two partners. To counter the crisis, the focus shifts to takeaway: 80% vegetable, 20% animal, and he brings the city back to life with new street food creations.
- 2023
He opens "Victoria vum Berdorfer Eck", a new restaurant venue in the heart of the Mullerthal in Berdorf.
- 2025
He takes over Heringer Millen, the beautifully restored 17th-century grain mill in the Mullerthal, another piece of Luxembourg heritage joining his table.
- 2026
He's joined by his longtime friend Nico Heinen to build Restaurant Living in Mertert, his most ambitious project so far.
